How we write our guides
Our guides cover hiring and working in private homes in Spain, Gibraltar and the UK. This is how we put them together.
Who writes them
Yolanda Mancera, Founder, who brings over 12 years of experience in private service and continues to work in the sector today.
Sources
We work from official texts first (the BOE, Spain’s Social Security, HM Government of Gibraltar, GOV.UK) and link them in every guide. When we quote market figures from agencies or surveys, we say whose they are and don’t present them as official.
Calculations
We show the method and the official formula, and say when a figure is our own calculation.
Drafting and review
We use AI tools to research and draft. A person checks every fact, figure and link against the source before publishing. Yolanda reviews each guide before it goes live.
Updates
Each guide shows its last review date. Laws and figures change, so we review legal guides at least once a year and when the rules change.
