Household Staff for Private Homes in Marbella
Private introductions to individually reviewed housekeepers, nannies, private chefs, butlers and house managers for villas and residences in Marbella, Benahavís, Estepona and Sotogrande.
Villas on the Costa del Sol often need more than one person: a housekeeper who knows fine fabrics, a nanny for the summer months, a chef when the house is full, or a couple who run the property all year. HouseHoldTalent introduces household staff to private homes across Marbella, Nueva Andalucía, Benahavís, Estepona and Sotogrande.
We are an introduction network, not a commission agency. You submit a confidential role brief, review profiles from the HHT Approved network, shared without names or contact details, and request introductions. Candidates are introduced only with their consent, and you employ them directly.

Household employment opportunities on the Costa del Sol
There are no live Costa del Sol roles listed right now. New roles are added as households submit briefs.
How introductions work
- 1Submit a role brief describing the villa, the role, live-in or live-out, and the season or hours. Our team reviews every brief.
- 2Browse profiles shared without names or contact details, or ask about Priority Search: personal support finding suitable candidates for one household role, priced on enquiry. Profiles show experience, languages and availability, never names or contact details.
- 3Request an introduction. The candidate confirms they want to be introduced, and only then are details shared.
An alternative to agency commission
Traditional agencies typically charge a percentage of the candidate’s salary. HouseHoldTalent charges one fixed fee for 30 days of access instead: Standard £249 or Ongoing Hiring £365, with no success fee. Priority Search is priced on enquiry.
Ongoing Hiring includes one replacement role if a position is filled within the 30 days. Paid access is paused while we build our network, so households can register their interest free for now. Candidates never pay to join.
Employing household staff in Spain
Household employment in Spain is governed by Real Decreto 1620/2011. Each employee must be registered with Social Security by the household, up to 60 days before the start date and no later than the first day.
Spain’s minimum wage for 2026 is €1,221 a month in 14 payments for a full-time job. Accommodation or meals can only be deducted if at least the minimum wage is still paid in cash, and deductions can’t exceed 30% of the salary.
Full-time household staff work up to 40 hours a week, with 36 consecutive hours of weekly rest and 30 calendar days of holiday a year.
This is a summary, not legal advice. Have a gestor check the contract before your new employee starts.
Live-in and live-out villa staff
Live-in roles usually come with accommodation on the property, from a room in the house to a separate staff cottage. For live-in staff the rules on rest, meals and any time on call must be agreed in writing, so it pays to set out the hours and days off clearly in the brief.
